Mossel Bay Construction, formerly known as Valotype, was founded in 1994 by building and civil construction contractor Matthys Brits. The company initially focused on general and civil construction projects in the Northern Cape – completing many projects throughout the province including the Northern Cape mines, shopping centers, residential areas, as well as hospitals. This allowed the company to grow at a fast rate, and with an ever-expanding team of professionals, we have been able to offer a comprehensive range of residential and civil construction services!
After 10 years servicing the Northern Cape, Matthys decided to relocate the company to Mossel Bay where it was re-established as a family-owned construction business after his two sons joined the team.
